For Acute hypovolemic shock: An initial dose of 25 g for adults and up to about 1 g/kg for children .

For Hypoproteinemia: A maximum of 2 g/kg daily.

For Hyperbilirubinemia Neonate: 1 g/kg before exchange transfusion.
