Shall be used in emergency cases, for the treatment of suspected or laboratory confirmed Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) for patients (both adult and child), hospitalized with an oxygen saturation (SpO₂) ≤ 94% on room air or requiring supplemental oxygen or requiring mechanical ventilation or Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

“The recommended dosage of remdesivir is 200 mg as a single dose on Day 1, followed by 100 mg once daily starting on Day 2.

Treatment duration:

1. Patients not requiring mechanical ventilation or extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)- Total treatment duration is 5 days; It may extend for up to 5 additional days (total of 10 days) for patients who do not demonstrate clinical improvement.

2. Patients requiring invasive mechanical ventilation/ECMO: Total treatment duration is 10 days

Administer Remdesivir via IV Infusion over 30 to 120 minutes “
